This small modern child friendly garden design in South West London blends contemporary landscaping with the traditional surrounding architecture.

Full width sliding French doors open onto the sunny south facing cool natural limestone patio. The upper area is divided by a modern rendered raised planter. A simple floating underlit hardwood bench provides comfortable seating. Ideal for socialising and al fresco dining Stylish garden storage is built into the recess of a rendered partition wall.

The garden steps down to the stone edged lawn level with a playhouse for the children. Bespoke smooth trellis panels complement the scheme painted with contrasting green shades of Farrow and ball exterior eggshell finish.

The planting is structural with evergreens including box topiary, evergreen jasmine and a containerised Olive ‘Peace Tree’ lending a warm Mediterranean feel. Annuals and bulbs provide colour and seasonal interest.
