Traditional Gardens and Courtyards
Loi Man
I’m really enjoying a gentle resurgence of interest in traditional gardens using reclaimed materials, which seem to snuggle perfectly into their old surrounds.
Here reclaimed York steppingstones guide you to the back patio,
where an old painted false door focal point provides an illusion of mystery beyond.
The central planting is low and spreading using evergreen Hebe’s and Rosemary for structure, with the flowers of Lavender, creeping Thyme and Erigeron.
Looking back the journey is just as enticing!
